Garry Kasparov is set to return to KCF Academy on February 1, 2026, for a second live session, offering the academy community a unique chance to learn from one of the most influential figures in chess history.

The King’s Indian has always been a weapon of courage, creativity, and uncompromising play, and no one embodies that spirit better than Garry Kasparov.

In his special 2nd Live lecture, the former World Champion reveals how dynamic attacks and fearless decision-making turn the King’s Indian into a winning weapon at the highest level. Kasparov will guide the KCF Academy community through the key ideas behind this fearless system, showing how space, tension, and timing combine to unleash powerful attacks against even the most solid setups. KID has always been a weapon of great Champions, such as Bobby Fischer, Mikhail Tal, and Leonid Stein.

Known for his dynamic, fearless style, Kasparov has long believed in investing in the future of chess. Early in his career, he joined his mentor, Mikhail Botvinnik, as a trainer at Botvinnik’s legendary school, helping shape the next generation of elite players. He later took this mission worldwide, leading renowned training camps across the globe.

For more than 20 years, the Kasparov Chess Foundation has been a driving force in youth chess development. What began in the United States has grown into a global initiative, opening doors for talented young players everywhere. Kasparov remains personally involved, running elite training camps for top prospects from the U.S. and Europe and offering direct mentorship at the highest level.
